Hospital Radio Glamorgan gave the honour to its oldest volunteer. It recognises an outstanding contribution to the charity.

Inspectors found that the school provides a “welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils feel safe, supported and valued”.

The club provides open access activities for young people and the wider community in one of the least advantaged areas of the city.

To commemorate this milestone, a Cultural Exchange Day was held on August 6 at North Ely Youth Centre.

The fundraising drive was launched by Sam Warburton and led by The Rescue Hotel, a charity established in 2020 to support Cardiff Dogs Home.
