The upgraded play area now includes a puzzles-and-games-themed zone and accessible equipment for children of all ages and abilities.

The exercise took place at Oakfield Primary School, St Mellons and was run along with the school and Cardiff Council.

On July 17, Christopher West, 42, was sentenced to one year and four months in prison at Cardiff Crown Court.
