On July 17, Christopher West, 42, was sentenced to one year and four months in prison at Cardiff Crown Court.

Cocker spaniel, Max, and collie spaniel cross, Chase, have joined the dog’s section of South Wales Police.

In total, £200,000 has been awarded to clubs through the scheme, which was delivered by Cardiff Council in partnership with Cardiff Met Sport.
