Cardiff Council has granted permission for up to 11 residents to live in a terraced house in Roath.

The council approved the change to the HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) located on Claude Road on December 18.

Applicant Katie Hutt was granted permission to extend the house from seven to nine bedrooms in 2023.

This new decision allows more residents to live at the property but does not propose additional bedrooms.

According to the documents submitted on Cardiff Council’s planning portal, two of the nine bedrooms could become double rooms.

Ms Hutt is Director of Hecasgon Ltd, a private company based in Cardiff, which had more than £2.2m worth of investment property as of November 30 2023, according to Companies House.
